Working with the Office of Technology Licensing

Under Stanford's Invention's, Patents and Licensing Policy, Stanford inventors are required to disclose and assign inventions to Stanford if the invention was developed using more than incidental Stanford resources or in the course of their University responsibilities. By submitting an idea as part of the Invention Challenge, participants agree to assign their inventions to the University in accordance with the University's policy on Intellectual Property.
